audible click at beginning of song when rendering

I'm using Vegas 8 and when I render to .wav file, I'm getting a click at about 1/2 second after the song starts. This click isn't present when playing Vegas only when the mix is rendered. Any ideas?

The only external plug-in I'm using is a Waves L2 as an audio assignable FX on the Master pre-fader.
I recreated the same mix again today in Vegas 6 exactly the same way as I did in Vegas 8, and there was no click. Any ideas, Thanks.

As i have guessed....Using Waves plugin on your audio
in Vegas Pro 8 will give you that click you are experiencing.
If you are gonna use any Waves plugin you gonna have to work
around that 1-2 second click intro.
However that click does not occur in Vegas Pro 9 nor
as you pointed out in earlier versions of Vegas.
