I'm assuming that the $50 discount is already applied.

I can't say there's a whole lot in this new version that I'll take advantage of aside from native XDCAM EX browser. I'll probably upgrade anyway just to have 32 and 64 bit versions, since I do plan to get Windows 7 when the final version comes out. I am interested to see what the gradient wipe transition looks like though.

I also don't see a lot that will make this much of a new experience for me, but alas...I want to get in on the deal to be Windows 7 ready.

The ONE THING I want, they don't have. I have access to Panasonic cams that use P2 cards and I'd love to have that capability built in. I know Raylight is an option, but I'd rather have it already in there.

Jeff, you'll have to live with Raylight.
Have a look at the Panasonic vs Sony Vegas thread here on the Cow last fall for the reasons why :-(

Finally!
A chance to darken the interface down!
And RED, 4K, 32 bit float and 10 bit support!
Methinks Vegas is finally coming of age.
This puts FCP to shame....
