Motion Blur Type Help

I have been a wedding videographer for the past 4 or 5 years now, and we are finally starting to branch into some corporate and other video productions as well. I have been working with Vegas 8 Pro and have been playing with some new settings due to picking up a HD camera.
In the properties tab for a new project setup, there are various options for motion blur types. Does anyone have any information on what these different types do, and also, why I would want to use them for projects?

What the different types do is documented in the help file and pretty much the same way they work in Photoshop or any other graphics package.
I usually just leave it on Gaussian.
Why you would want to use them is if you wanted to add motion blur to your video for any reason. It is specifically good for animations that have discrete frames that are too clear. The motion blur makes them look more natural. BTW, these settings will do nothing until you add a Motion Blur envelope to the Master Video Bus track so don't worry about the settings if you are not using a motion blur envelope.
