Hi, I'm working ona a project with progressive pictures as input and applying pan/crop/zoom on them...
I'm exporting project as MPEG2 DVD 2-pass max 9.2Mbps PAL 4:3, VBR with mp3 cbr 256. What seem to be a
problem is that while previewing or exporting project, pictures in it which were progressive are now
interlaced with lower field first, have playing artifacts like lines or dots playing across picture...
I've tried everything...change field order...switch to progressive etc. and always same...
when exporting progressive picture is blurry but still there are lines and dots playing.
I've tried also exporting as DV AVI 4:3 and it's the same thing with better picture quality/sharper that is.
Tried evan changing pixel format to 32bit and pixel aspect ratio from pal to square...and nothing.
One thing does do the thing and that is exporting via script to set of images but that is much more job and time than I have.
I'm working on core2duo 2x2,44GHz, 2GB ram, nVidia 8600gt.
Thanks in advance.

Well then, i am almost certain that they are high resolution images
which normally behaves as you describe.
If they are,use your image editor(not vegas pan/crop), to reduce the resolution(size)of each image,to the resolution of your video project.
I am sure the problem will cease then.
