Troubleshooting: I cannot retreive my Pan/Crop window!

Let the following be a warning for those who like to be messy with their mouse.
-----
WHAT HAPPENED: Opening the Pan/Crop window for an event, I set about dragging the window so I could better see the preview window. Then something distracted me and, still holding the Pan/Crop window, I seemed to move and then drop it below the very bottom of the overal Sony Vegas Pro 8 window!
THE PROBLEM: Every time I bring up the Pan/Crop window it appears right below where I could grab it and drag it back to a usable portion of my screen. I am completely unable to use the Pan/Crop tool because of this.
AS THINGS STAND: The program seems to have remembered this new "preference"of mine, so using other files than the one I was working on, restarting the program or even my computer simply does not help.
I use this tool a fair amount and cannot complete several projects without it. Any help on how I can retrieve it?

Thank you for the suggestion Steve - I did not know you could do that!
Though it come up with a message asking me if I wanted to go back to
default settings, after clicking "Ok" the program booted up with the same problem.

Well Oliver,
Still you now know a new feature.
Now it seems then your pan crop window has gone below the taskbar at
bottom, if i read you correct? if that is the prob, then right click your taskbar and select properties..then when the properties opens up
tick 'auto hide taskbar',apply and ok.
Now your taskbar should sink out of view when the mouse is not over it
and hopefully you can now drag back your pan crop in view that is hidden at bottom.
Hope that helped...
