Put trimmered clip on timeline, shortcut?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to send an edited clip from the trimmer to the timeline? Am I missing a better workflow?

Man do I feel less than attentive. I figured it out.
In the trimmer select your area to save to timeline.
Right click, add media from ....(Vegas is pretty cool).
