Beginner Question: Compositing Mode
by Jesse Ryan on Jun 26, 2008 at 2:56:53 am

I have vegas movie studio(8d). When I click on a tracks' compositing mode I only see 2 settings: Multiply (Mask) and Source Alpha.

Are all the other modes only featured in Vegas Pro, or am I missing something? In particular I'm looking for the 3D source alpha mode for manipulating tracks in super cool ways.

Clicking the "Compositing Mode" box in Vegas Pro brings up the following options:
3D Source Alpha, Custom, Add, Subtract, Cut, Screen, Overlay, Hard Light, Dodge, Burn, Darker, Lighten, Difference and Difference Squared.
