	no audio from sony handicam files by Larry Watts (TalbotGrad) on May 9, 2008 at 8:24:32 pm I had a friend shoot a few shots of calif surf for a project. It didn't need to be much at all. The friend used a sony handicam with hard drive and copied the files to a DVD and sent them to me. Windows media player plays them after a codec search and the audio is with it. Vegas will only import the video. No audio. What will it take to get the audio into Vegas? Thanks Larry Respond to this post Return to posts index


	Re: no audio from sony handicam files by Mike Kujbida on May 10, 2008 at 12:07:45 am If you have at least Vegas 6.0c, try the "File - Import - DVD Camcorder Disc" method. It was originally meant for miniDVDs but works with full-sized discs as well. Respond to this post Return to posts index
