Disappearing Text Editing Window

Was working with text and everything was fine.
All of a sudden when I double click on a text clip to open and edit the text (Generated media),it acts like it's about to open the window as usual, but the window "flies off the screen" and I can't for the life of me figure out where it has gone.
Earlier when I double clicked on said text, the text editor would open in a window and I could edit, but now I can't.
Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks Scott. That was a good idea.
Unfortunately, it didn't help. The window still flies off the very bottom of the screen into the great unknown. It's quite frustrating as I'm unable to edit any text.

This has happened to me before I will tell you one place to look. Move your start task bar at the bottom of windows to either the left or right side of your screen and look to see if it was under it. This is were I found mine. It looked like it was flying off the screen but that is were it went.

You've managed to move that particular window "off the screen". My normal recommendation is to change the screen to a different resolution, find the window, move it back to the main area, and then reset your screen resolution back.
