Off Topic: NAB 2008

Gurus -

From what I have been reading, some big time folks are pulling out of NAB. Case in point, Apple and AVID I believe. What is Sony doing? I was planning to attend this year but now I'm wondering if there is about to be an exodus of vendors.

Any thoughts.

I've been the last 3 years but not this one and not because of the ones pulling out. There are still a lot of exhibitors but you can catch up quickly by reading and going to some of the local shows afterward.
