Vegas 6, transparent background using PNG and transistion, possible?

I'm editing a peice and it calls for some product shots to be onscreen. I put these in as 32bit PNG files to maintain a transparent background around the product shots. I'd like to use a transistion to fly these in and out of screen. As soon as the transistion starts, a black box shows up around the product where the transparency was. Is there anyway to fix this?

I just tried this and everything worked as I expected it to work. I didn't get any black in the transparent areas. I tried a bunch of different transitions too.

Steve, I got the same results as Edward... unless I didn't have any media on the track(s) below the png track. Then I do get the black square.
As an experiment, try inserting white generated media in the track below your png and see if the black box goes away - it does for me.
I do not know of a way to maintain the transparency using a transition. However, a possible workaround is to use track motion to fly in your png. Then, transparency is maintained.

I had a png with a transparent background on track 1 and another full screen png on track 2. Track 2 was never blocked (no extra black anywhere) except where it should be no matter what transition I used. I didn't try them all but I tried several.
