Hello!
I am trying to capture video from my DV cam. When connecting the following message appears: Device found - USB sound unit
After this I still have the message Please connect a device on the bluescreen. I am currently using platinum 8,0c and video capture 6,0
Please help me.

You need to use a firewire (aka 1394) cable with Vegas, not USB.
If you don't have a firewire card on your computer, buy one.
They're cheap ($20 or so) and well worth the money.

Capture via Firewire. Don't even mess around with USB.
