dvd architect 4 menu help

Can someone please give me the steps to add a menu that comes up after a short intro clip plays. I use dvd architect 4 and vegas 6.
I have had success in creating a dvd with a menu that comes up after the movie has finished, but I need
1. a short movie clip to play
2. then menu comes up and waits until you click on a chapter link.

I guess in other words i need to move my menu from the end of the dvd to somewhere in the middle.

I am sorry if this is not clear what I am trying to do but I am new to this video stuff and really could use any help offered. thanks in advance Tom Taylor

Set your short video clip as the "first play". Make the "End Action" of that clip point to your menu. That should be all you need.

that makes sense but do I
1. click new then menu based dvd or single movie
2. should i load the intro clip seperate from the main video
with the chapter markers in it.

I am really new to this and Im sorry to say i need either step by step or really simple instructions.

1 - new menu based movie
2 - yes, make it a separate file
