Best Rendering Format for DVD

I am currently running Sony Vegas 6.0, at least I think it is 6.0. I load all my DV to the PC in AVI and would like to know the best render format to use for the DVD. There too many options for me to figure out on my own. I would like to maintain the quality of the original image. Disk space is not an issue. I just dont want any loss between the original DV tape and the DVD.
