Capture DVCPro HD?

How can I capture DVCProHD footage from a Panasonic AG1200A deck? It does have the DVCPRO/DV card.

I would like to capture the footage via firewire straight into my notebook computer for compositing in combustion. We normally go to another facility to have it transfered via PC Avids into Avid Quickimes.. I'd like to start capturing it directly.

Possible in Vegas, or another application/utility?
