Hi everyone, im currently working on a project that is saved as two different projects. I need to combine them, but am not sure the best way to do this. I've entertained the thought of copy and paste from one to the other, but i have way too many lines of info to select all of them at once using control shift that is. The other thought I had was to render the one part and then import it to the other as an mpeg. Any thoughts on the best way to handle this situation?

Are you using the full version (not Movie Studio) of (at least) Vegas 6.
If so, nested vegs are what you want to do.
Save #1 as project1.veg
Save #2 as project2.veg
Start a new project and import project1.veg and project2.veg just like you would with any media.
Drop them on your timeline and save as project1-master.veg
You should know that, if your original had multiple audio and/or video tracks, everything will be still there but it will now be one track each of audio and video.
You can still edit it by right clicking the video portion and selecting "Edit Source Project".
This will start a new instance of Vegas with the original project. Make any necessary changes, re-save it and both project1.veg and project1-master.veg will be updated.
