Help with feature (file pushing)

Just a quick question. I can't seem to find any post on here about this subject so I'm sorry if it is a repeat. I'm editing together my first feature and it's about 2 hours worth of footage edited out (with 2 additional audio tracks added). The thing is I've got this thing layed out over a LARGE apce on the timeline. I'm trying to see if there is a way to get the files to snap together over the space in between tracks to connect the whole thing together without having to highlight and drag them all into place. The only reason I am even asking this is I've got 2 additional audio tracks and I can seem to drag bits and pieces of them but not the whole thing. I have one track that is nothing but foley sound and I REALLY don't want to have to go back through the ENTIRE footage to retime everything in the timeline. Any suggestions? I would like to avoid this but I guess I've learned a valuable lesson and I will NEVER edit like this again if there is not some easy solution to the problem. Thanks in advance. I appreciate all the help you've given me so far.

also, if you have a large gap on ALL the tracks; you can set the in and out points of the gap then hit delete to remove the gap. Just remember if you don't like the result, do a "Ctrl-Z" to undo the last action.

I am not familiar with ripple at all. I'm kinda new to the program. I have about an hour or so separating my major parts of the movie. I'm also not sure how to set in and out points either. Anyone want to clue me in. I feel like such a loser when it comes to the finer points of Vegas. Thank you guys so much.

I/O points: place cursor at In point. Push 'I'. Place cursor at out point. Push 'O'. Off ya go.
can also drag along timeline to do same, esp at the top.
;)
There is a button at the top that enables / disable Ripple editing. Has 3 settings:
- ripple Affected tracks
- ripple Affected tracks, busses, markers, regions
- ripple ALL at once.
