Timeline moves in hundredths of frames ?
by Gordon Nicol on Jul 29, 2005 at 6:24:22 pm

I recently upgraded to V6 and I can't figure out how,
In V4 on the Timeline, moving the cursor using left or right arrows would take over one hundred clicks to move one frame BUT
In V6 moving the left/right arrows only ONE click will move to the next frame.
I would much rather have the extremely more detailed focus for making really tight audio edits.
I've compared both sets of prefs but I can't find any difference.

In the Options I have both set on Ruler / Time & Frames.

Any Ideas???

Turn off "Quantize to Frames" and see if that helps.

Mike,
thanks. I tried that, but didn't make any difference.
This is puzzling.

It DID work !!!
For some reason, the first time I changed it, there was no difference, but I tried again and it worked.
YAHOO !!!
Thanks a bunch.

Glad it worked for you Gordon. I wasn't near my Vegas PC at the time so that was off the top of my head :-)
