Video question, here or FCP forum?

It's about workflow, or if this will even work at all.
I want to send an email to a client with a link that will get a video file
downloaded and will play on the iPhone.
I know how to get a video file into the 3G iPhone if I have the file on my computer by
going through the sync procedure. I did that yesterday and it looks great. But I don't
want the client to have to use a computer to do it. I want them to be able to
download it directly on the iPhone.
Or, should it be a streaming file and they play it from a web page?
The problem with that is, it's not downloaded so they can't play it again
without streaming again. And streaming files tend to hiccup.
If you need to direct me to another forum, no problem.

Cannot be done. To have any file permanently on the iphone it must be synced from the computer.

That is the only way they will be able to access the video without syncing it to the phone.
My suggestion is do both. Post a streaming option on the web and also send them a file to sync.
There are no "technical solutions" to your "artistic problems".
Don't let technology get in the way of your creativity!
