I've just begun a research concerning iPhone development. And i need to have a binary image of the entire phone's disk. So, i guess that it is possible to copy dd utility to the phone and launch it there and get all the disk image via usb to my computer. How do you think it is a good idea, or you have any others? If it's ok, explane me please, how to copy dd to the phone and correctly launch it. Thank you in advance.

[Anthony Shoumikhin] "And i need to have a binary image of the entire phone's disk."

The iPhone Disk is NOT accessible like that.

NO, you cant just copy any application to the iPhone the program MUST be built for the iPhone first.

[Anthony Shoumikhin] "explane me please, how to copy dd to the phone and correctly launch it."

Again you CANNOT.

If you wish to do iPhone development, then you will NEED to use the iPhone SDK, there is NO other way to develop an iPhone application.
