Hi All,
I wonder if anyone can help.
I've just upgraded to Leopard and now my iPhone won't appear in itunes.
Iphoto starts up when the phone is inserted but not itunes...which is kinda vital for syncing.
Any ideas? I've tried all 3 USB ports on my MPB and a full restart of both iphone and mac.
Thanks in advance.
Dave

Do other USB devices work on the computer?

[Zane Barker] "Will the phone show up on another computer?"
did you update Itunes also?
if you did not update itunes - you cannot get the firmware update that allows the phone to be used in the latest version of leopard.

Hi and thanks for the replies.
I'm using itunes 7.6.1 and other USB devices ( a hard drive) are working fine.
I have no other computer to attach the iphone to i'm afraid.
Can I uninstall and re-install itunes? if so how?

Try finding someone else with a computer that has an up to date version of iTunes and see if the phone will show up there.
You can always make an appointment at the genius bar at your local apple store, and let then check out your phone and computer. Don't let technology get in the way of your creativity! Respond to this post • Return to posts index
