My boss has a new iphone and its connected to our in house network and also to our wireless connection. While in the office he can send/receive/reply to his messages in Outlook but when he leaves he can only receive messages. When he tries to reply or send messages from outside the office the iphone locks up and sometimes displays a error message stating it can't find the network. Any suggestions on whats going on? The one thing that doesn't make sense is when hes outside the office he can still receive messages.

[mark chadwick]"While in the office he can send/receive/reply to his messages in Outlook but when he leaves he can only receive messages."
If he is leaving the office and still using Outlook then he is not on the iPhone. Outlook is windows only.

Again there is no way he could be using outlook on the phone.
And because outlook is only on windows computers he should be checking with Microsoft on the issue, as both outlook and windows are made by them.
I do not see what any of your question has to do with the iPhone as the issue is with outlook.

It sounds like your ISP permits email to check from a 'known good' network...but over ATT's it doesn't.
You might want to contact them; possibly switching the ipod to using secure sending will help.
Zane is right - this isn't the iphone, this is your ISP that you use for email (whomever hosts your email is possibly blocking some email relays to prevent spammer.)
