I am a recent graduate from University of Wisconsin-Madison and work for a local post house. I am looking for some freelance video editing and graphic design work. I have been working with non-liner editing systems and graphics software for over 3 years and am currently working on learning more motion graphics and animation software and techniques. Hey cool!
I'm from Wisconsin! I grew up in Madison. We lived on Regent St. a few blocks from UW stadium. I graduted from Madison West High.
I remember my brothers and I would park cars in our back yard during the rose bowl for $5 per car. We would cram like 40 cars back there and make a ton of money!

I am an intertern at a small broadcasts studio and I was given an assignment to prepare a 30 second spot for an upcoming local conference centered on teaching children to read.
My idea for the beginning is to have a book with the title of the conference on the cover opening and place the highlights on the "pages" of the book. The "page" turn with each new highlight and at the end, the book closes .
The trouble is, I'm just an intern and I have NO clue how to acomplish this. They use After effect 7 and I've never used affter effects.
This is my first assignment and I don't want it to look cheesy.
We also use Avid Media Composer if that helps.
I really just need the first part-A giant book opening with an animation of the pages turning so I can put video on the "pages".
I'm still in school (UTEP) and there are alot of things I have troouble with. If you're cheap and good, I can use you in the future and pass your info around to other students.
