Experienced assistant editor available for work. I am located in Chicago, but can relocate or travel depending on job. I am not union, but meet all necessary qualifications to become a member of MPEG if need be.

• HD Broadcast Television (Documentary, Docudrama, Episodic, Dramatic)

• Creative Cuts
• Producer Cuts
• Cutting show packages, sizzle reels and promotional material
• Creating music cue sheets and editor logs
• Multi-Cam editing
• Maintaining tape libraries
• Making dubs (both tape and DVDs)
• Preparing all visual and audio elements for the editors, motion graphics department & re-recording mixers
• Expert video encoding, placing client previews on FTP for approval
• Using DV, Digi-Beta, Beta & HD CAM Decks (with patch bays)
• Digitizing all forms of media tape/web/ tapeless (this includes RED Footage, P2 Cards, Sony XD Cam)
• Managing media on server systems (Avid Unity, Final Cut Server etc...)
• Creative & Technical troubleshooting for both computers and editing applications
• Uploading and exporting in a wide variety of formats

Final Cut Pro 6.0.6, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Color, Cinema Tools, Avid Media Composer, Avid Meridian, Avid Unity, Avid Adrenaline, Adobe After Effects, Sorenson Squeeze, Adobe Creative Suite.
