Hi Carol,
ok, let me get this straight. You are an "emmy award winning production company" and you want someone to work for you for free for three months.

Carol, I hope you get hit by a car this evening. I will try to identify your company, and report you to the Department of Labor.

Have a nice day.

Rescue 1, Inc.

Carol,

You have this post on a different website. Are you trying to staff your entire company for free? Good luck with that.

"Emmy award-winning filmmaker seeking intern to help with workload.
Currently in production on a TV show and feature documentary and in distribution on others projects. Responsibilities include but not limited to internet marketing, blogging, publicity, outreach, fundraising, research, grant writing. casting, production assisting, assisting editing FCP (logging and transcribing), and website development. Must be reliable, organized, motivated, an open attitude, excellent communication skills (spoken and written), detail oriented and have good computer skills. Looking for a smart, ambitious go-getter. Must have your own laptop. Mac preferred.

This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of filmmaking from development to distribution. Should be able to work effectively from home on occasion. Internet access is a must.

If intern shows promise there are possibilities to move into an impressive position. Filmmaker loves to give young people opportunities they normally wouldn’t get.

Please include your time available, resume and two references.

And this one on that same site. How can you expect someone to provide their own editing equipment (over $2000 worth with your requirements), have "exceptional skills and knowledge of special effects," and be able to drop everything else to get your projects done on a tight deadline...for FREE?!

Also, are you an Emmy Award winning company, or just an individual that played some part in a production that won an Emmy and has now started their own company?
