Not sure what's up here. When I go for a fast render from NP2 nothing happens at all. Must hit stop button to stop NP2. I have switched to AE MP rendering for now. All render cores fire up but Activity Monitor says they are not responding.
Any one else have this problem?

How long do you give it before stopping it (I'm wondering if it starts to render eventually or just not at all).
Are there any message windows that appear when you get After Effects to do the render (like a warning or a trial plugin message)? If there are then the Nucleo processes may be stuck on the same message windows. Since Nucleo's processes aren't visible on the screen then you aren't able to click on them to let the render start.
Otherwise try the following:
Go to either the Nucleo plugin folder and start the "Nucleo Support Tool" or (if After Effects is running) the Nucleo status icon > Window > Support Tool.
Click on the Support tab and click the Create button.
Click the Create Package button and send the zip file that is created back to support@gridironsoftware.com
That file contains all the logs and configuration information and will help us troubleshoot this,
