Running Nucleo without AE?
by Nelson Row (Pyro) on Jan 16, 2008 at 5:42:26 pm

If I wanted to run Necleo to queue Maya renders, must I have AE running as well? This would diminish the amount of RAM dedicated to mayaBatch.exe.

Also, could I add rendering flags within the Necleo queue? Such as changing the default image format, which camera etc?

Thanks!

Nucleo Pro is an After Effects plugin and requires AE to be running. You could minimize the amount of memory allocated to AE and reduce the number of background Nucleo processes to lower the memory requirements but you couldn't eliminate it entirely.

When an item gets added to the queue there are some render settings that can be made on-the-fly - try the trial version to see what settings can be made.
