NP2 Commit to disk NO alpha problem.

I have tried using CTD. I select best quality, alpha. Then when the new new layer comes in, there's no alpha. Can't do much with that.

Also when is there going to be an update to fix the slow motion quitting of AE when NP2 is running?

Also does anyone out there use the Maximum setting? Is it worth it?

What format are you selecting for the new layer? (Is it using a default Render Template/Output Module or custom?)

What platform are you running on?

The "Maximum" setting will set the worker processes Nucleo uses to the same priority as the rest of the applications on your machine. The default setting will allow the main After Effects window and other applications more processor time if they need it. Normal priority is recommended unless you are only using Fast Render, Fast Preview and Commit to Disk functionality.

The Nucleo plugin that only had Fast Render and Preview defaulted to the maximum setting. The new Pro functionality is focussed on workflow to allow you to still use After Effects while it's features work in the background.

I'm still having the problem where when I use CTD I select lossless alpha best quality there is no alpha. I have the latest NP2 update.

I am running CS3 Prod Premium

Here are my machine specs.

Try manually duplicating the Commit-to-Disk as follows:

Take all the layers that you want to commit and set them as solo layers, then add the item to the After Effects render queue. Set the Render Settings and Output module to the same as you selected in the Commit-to-Disk dialog and render the item with After Effects (either disable Nucleo Pro or change the 'Render Options' in the Nucleo status icon menu to 'After Effects render').

Compare the rendered output to the item generated with Commit-to-Disk.

If you've altered the Output Module that was chosen it may no longer contain Alpha,
