Does Episode Support Compression Markers From FCP

I had exported a Quicktime file AIC Codec with compression markers that I had set in my time line in FCP. I was hoping that Episode would use these markers when I was encoding mpeg2 TS to set the marked frames as iframes. I checked the mpeg2 file with an analyzer and it seems that Episode ignored the markers. Does Episode use the FCP compression markers for forcing iframes? Are my expectations for the use of compression markers correct? If so what am I missing?

I would like to have the benefit of episode more flexible settings (especially TS settings), but also be able to use compression markers to set iframes in places of my choice. If I create a preset in Episode and then use the Episode plugin in Compressor, to encode the clip will this work to place iframes at the markers?

I don't believe that the Episode plugin for Compressor is going to allow you to use MPG. For MPG I'm guessing Compressor is going to want to use its native codecs.
I could be wrong though. Try it out and report back.
