Guys,
I'm trying to use Elvis' emitter called 'Super Bullet Holes V3' from 06_07 and what I'm seeing is pretty strange.
When I view the effect in particleView it works perfectly.
But when I add it to my stage in pI everything except the metal holes themselves are not visible (this is also true in the Preview area in pI). Even when I render out this is the case.
I re-downloaded the library just in case and still the same issue.
Does anyone else see this?

Ra-ey

What's your project framerate? I bet it's not 30 fps. Some emitters are touchy in that their "number" property is linked to 30 fps. If you change it to anything else (usually lower) you may not get any particles.

particleView is hard-coded to 30 fps, so it always works. You can probably tweak the "number" value just a little and it will start working as expected.

Alan.

Alan,
That was completely it. I was 25fps. Funny, after all these years I've never had an issue like that before.
Thanks for the quick reply - lifesaver.
