Vista / 64 bit issues?

Hi, I want to buy a new computer. It will have Vista and a 64 bit system (not sure what that means exactly) and I was told that some software might not work with 64 bit systems. Does Particle Illusion have issues? I already use, and love, the software. Not wanting to get a computer that it won't be compatible with. Thanks In Advance, Donovan

Well, I just setup my Vista 64 bit and particle illusion does not seem to work at all. I even try running it in Windows XP compt. mode with the same results. I sent an email to Alan inthe hopes that this can be addressed.

Did you have to do anything special to get 3.0.3 working on Vista 64? Is there some compatibility setting (or whatever) that is required?
