Background images and fading color?
by James Davis on Jun 25, 2008 at 6:17:04 pm

As the doc explains, particle effects look very different against different color backgrounds. I have a background image that is partly black and partly gray. The black portion shows the blue coloring of the particles clearly but they almost disappear against the gray. How do I deal with this. I'd like the effect to be more visible over gray as well.

Thanks,

Jam

You either check the "preserve color" option for each particle type (next to the "intense" checkbox in the emitter properties dialog), or you just render on black and composite in another application.
