Frame sizes in SE vs. 3.0
by Rachel Eisengart on Jun 8, 2008 at 7:55:52 pm

Do I understand correctly that the maximum frame/stage size you can create in both versions is 640x480? If so, does anyone have suggestions if working with a larger frame size?

Thanks

Both SE and 3.0 can use larger stage sizes than 640 x 480 -- change that in the "project settings" dialog.

In SE you're limited to a size that you can fit in the stage window at 100% zoom though, so this means that to get larger sizes, you may need to maximize SE and then manually resize the stage window as large as possible.

In 3.0, this resizing is automatic, and it will use pIRender if needed, so you can render larger sizes without having to resize any windows.
