Hi Alan,
Regarding the new particle illusion later this year . .
Will it be both XP / Vista compatible ? ( I want to stay with XP ).
Can you give a rough cost-estimate of the . .
stand-alone version
ae plug-in version

Yes, any new releases will be XP-compatible. particleIllusion 3 still runs on Win 98, so it will be a long time before XP support is dropped.
Product pricing:
- 3.0.2 Win - free update
- pIllusion AE (the After Effects plug-in) -- probably $249, but 1/2 price if you own 3.0 (or buy them together)
- 3.5 Win / Mac - upgrade price not determined yet
