S2VR Duo disk swap
by Simon Webb on Oct 6, 2009 at 6:17:14 pm

Probably a stupid question but I just don't know the answer, so I'll ask...

I have an S2VR Duo running in JBOD, but the disks are close to being full. I don't need the data that's on them but I'd like to keep it for archival reasons. Can I just swap out the full disks for some new ones, and if so, will the old ones and their data be recognized if I swap them back in at some point in the future?

Thanks for any help.

Hey Simon,

What you want to do is possible & will work, have a look at this link:

Please contact sales@caldigit.com for the spare populated modules for the S2VRDuo that you have & we'll square you away there.
