Creating AE plug-ins...
by stephen reber on Jun 26, 2009 at 2:46:41 am

Curious, does anyone know where I can find any info or tutorials, or just generally point me in a direction... as I'm delving more into expressions, I am interested in creating my own plug-ins (eventually). If I understand correctly, the plug-ins are created with Java script? Where can I go for info on creating AE plug-ins.

Thanks in advance for any help...

Plug-ins are written in C++. You'll get the essential documentation when you download the SDK from Adobe. Adobe also has an SDK user forum.

This is the only tutorial I know of (it's old (1999), but still relevent):
