I am new to color grading projects. Can someone or would someone be willing to help me walk through the process of color? I am trying to get a good film look on some HD footage also some of the shots need to have a cold look with a green tint. any suggestions

Although it sounds like you want to do something simple Color is a different animal than FCP.

I would recommend your favorite online training. http://www.lynda.com has a Couple of excellent training titles for color. Also there are a number of users on this board with training titles also. Do some searching and you will find a place to get started.
