Frames missing after send to FCP

I have color corrected a sequence in Color (after sending it to Color from FCP). When I send it to FCP the timeline has the first frame missing on some shots. I can do the find frame and the rendered clip appears in the viewer and the missing frame is in the rendered clip so I am able to edit it in but I'd like to know why the frame is missing. This seems to happen only on clips from the same camera. The project is Apple Pro Res 422 HQ and mixed HD and DV. The shots with frames missing are originally DV 4x3 and were converted by the editor and resized for 16x9. Any ideas?
