Blacks lifting on output?

Anyone else running the absolute latest updates noticing that the blacks appear to be lifted and the overall image appearing brighter after it's rendered than when you're grading?
I've got 1080/23.98psf ProRes HQ running on an Octo Core with the ATI 2600 card. Everything looks good and dark in Color, but even when it's rendering, it appears the mids and blacks come up. The scopes looks good in FCP, but during playback areas that I'm sure I completely crushed in the blacks are visible again. And the overall image just appears lighter for some reason.
Anyone else noticing this change on output?

[Stuart Ferreyra]"Unless Apple released update I have yet to see on our systems "auto update" we are not experiencing any of the issues you describe."
Nah, no surprise updates other than a few weeks ago. Thanks for that. Wonder if the Kona board is causing anything on the output during grading. I'll look in to that.

kinda scary. I'll throw some knee jerk reactions your way, just in case they help.
LUT cleared or in any way a complication?
QT components running in the background? (Maybe a restart before grading?)
Are you using an OSX created custom monitor profile? (disable?)
Does the kona card have any of the output LUT stuff enabled?
Does dis/enabling broadcast safe affect blacks?

Not sure if this is the solution to your problem, as I'm sure you would have come across this before.
I've always found that a transcode between DVCPro and ProRes to result in a gamma or brightness shift. That said, if you're grading a DVCPro-imported clip and rendering out a ProRes clip, your blacks will lift.
Either rendering out at 10-bit Uncompressed gave me the best results, 8-bit was close but not perfect. Now I media manage all of my sequences into ProRes or Uncompressed before grading and have never had an issue since.

In this case we're rendering ProRes HQ to ProRes HQ.
But honestly I've not seen the issue you're mentioning and I've graded two short documentaries cut in DVCPro HD and rendered to ProRes HQ in Color.

Hmm, how bizarre. I was getting that problem when Color was first released. Wasn't on my own system, so I don't know the specs, but it was definitely happening every single time. A past update probably cured it by now.
In any case, this obviously isn't what your problem is...

I know this thread is several months old, but have you found a solution to this problem? Or even a workaround?
I'm running into the same thing. ProRes HQ --> ProRes HQ
In color it looks just a bit darker. In final cut, the blacks are up just a bit.
I've been trying to look and compare the scopes to see it's actually lifting, or if it's just a display issue, but it's hard to tell. My impression is that the scopes are the same.
