Hi,

need to sort this asap, so any help is much appreciated.

So, long story short, I rendered my timeline in color, saved it, but had to quite before I sent back to FCP.

Now I open the project and the render queue is empty, the timeline says unrendered and there seems to be no archive of the project available. Send to FCP seems to crash the program.

How can I get this back into FCP without having to add all and render everything again?

Thanks

[Matt Scholes] "How can I get this back into FCP without having to add all and render everything again?"

Try exporting an explicit XML and open that in FCP.

Thanks,

unfortunately that just reconnects to the original FCP media.

Basically color has forgotten that I have made these renders somehow.

similar issue here. media is rendered, color sees it as rendered in it's timeline, i can browse it in finder, but when exporting an XML, color references the original media.
any thoughts?
my workaround at the moment is removing the render folder, re-creating it, and render the whole thing again. hopefully, color will locate it's renders tomorrow morning..

I had to manually take the color render files into fcp in the end and use the timeline I'd sent to color as a guideline.

Took me forever, it's a complete nightmare if you have speed ramping or any motion.

The same thing happened to me today. I rendered out, but this time I saved the project. Color then crashed when I sent it to FCP, i opened the proj and the render queue was empty again!!!

But this time exporting an XML worked and then importing into FCP relinked the rendered files fin it seems.
