Delete colorproj. files to clear hard drive space?

You can delete them and the system will not be affected. Archiving them somehow might be a good idea.

Not really. Back when COLOR was the "daily drive" for many people, it was not uncommon to open the colorproj pkg from time to time to extract individual items, recover corrupt corrections, etc., under the Browser.

Overall, the application was never that tightly integrated or ported from its Unix base so far as to become an Apple application that needed to supervise every OS transaction.
