Interlace Issues - lower to upper - No ColorFX

Hi there,
I'm having pretty major interlace issues when exporting from Color.
Source footage is DV PAL (Lower Field), transferred using the Send to Color option. I've graded the shows and set the render codec to Uncompressed 10 Bit.
When I send it back to FCP, I've changed the resulting Sequence to 10 Bit Uncompressed (Upper Field) and it's all jittery on my broadcast monitor.
I have to apply a Shift Fields filter in FCP for it to play smoothly...

Actually, I think you probably could.
Read up in the COLOR manual Chapter 11 ColorFX about page 247, 248, and it is the first good expalantaion of how to manage interlacing in that room. You actually need two de-interlace nodes, which separates the fields into upper and lower --- THEN you build separate processing trees for each upper and lower branch.
A lot of things require de-interlacing so that each field is handled correctly (can anyone say "Shake"?) Then the whole shebang has to be re-einterlaced... re-connecting the upper and lower branches of your node tree to the "correct" upper/lower input on the re-interlace node.
Try swapping the upper and lower inputs on the Interlace node. Just like a swap further donwstream... ????

Swapping fields is going to look really odd though...... I don't think it's what you want to do. You want to shift fields, which is basically a vertical movement of 1 pixel. I should be able to do a node from this if needed.
