From the thread down below, it didn't sound that impressive. We're waiting here to get both that panel and the Tangent Wave panel to demo but so far, we're not hearing anything from anyone.
The JL Cooper Eclipse is just incredible, but I'd rather not spend the $6,500 since we would not use it every single day, but if I can't get the other panels in here for demo, then we probably will just go with the Cooper. If you're going to use the panel every single day, that is definitely the one I would get.

I went to IBC and demoed both the MC Color as well as the Tangent Wave. I also took along a 'real' colourist who works on a DaVinci Resolve as his day job.
The Wave is very usable as a Color panel. Colourists say it has a familiar feel of a real grading panel. Buttons are well thought out. Display is good. Transport and resets are where colourists expect them to be. Costs a bit more than the MC Color. Almost everyone who sees a Wave does comment on its slightly cheapo plastic feel.
The MC Color is still work in progress. The color balls move too freely so any subtle adjustments are impossible. The man at the stand said they were working on it. Also, for transport, you need a dedicated ($400) transport panel, but it has many other function keys so it is value for money.
Key assignment in MC Color is a bit clunky and you need to 'learn' many key functions. Also, the colour balls are free and can be taken off easily. I'm afraid one can even lose them.
