problem transferring vignette effects from Color to FCP

Hi, I am having a real problem with some of my clips being stretched when I transfer my FCP footage back from Color to FCP after it has been color corrected and rendered.
When I send the sequence back to FCP and view it on my timeline, some clips have been stretched and it appears as if the aspect ratio has been changed in some way, I originally thought this might be a problem with the whole sequence but only the clips that I applied a vignette to in Color have been affected in this way, all other clips that I did basic grades on appear to be fine and the image is not stretched. Therefore the only reason I can think of is that it is a problem related to the vignettes I have applied in Color that has resulted in the image being distorted and stretched in FCP.
I wondered if anyone has encountered similar problems when they transfer their footage back from Color to FCP? And if you could help at all with this problem as I'm really stuck.

Do you have mixed footage in your timeline? I.e. different codec material?

Hi Walter,
I have just found out that it is not just my vignette clips which are affected but all my clips that were in 1440x1080, as they have now changed to 1920x1080 in frame size, since they have come back from color. I also have some DV 720x567 footage in the timeline that was color corrected and is unaffected. As I have both HD and DV footage in my timeline, my idea was to compress all the footage to DV in compressor once the project is complete. I wonder If you know how I could change my footage back from 1920x1080 to 1440x1080? and if I need to change some settings in color so this doesnt happen when I send it back and forth from FCP to color?

COLOR only works with one set of factors at a time. You have a harder problem with the anamorphic format in that you may not have "Render to Original Format" as an option, hazarding a guess. ProRes and Uncompressed are your only other options then, and ProRes is a square pixel codec.
You could try rendering the media on a couple of passes -- changing the options between passes. I've done that with sequences that have arrived with multiple formats present. Then you need to walk back through the resulting (from COLOR) sequence and re-adjust all the Motion aspect ratio, etc., settings.

I am experiencing the same exact thing but I am using only 1 medium. Red1 footage, converted to Pro Res 4444 in Red Rushes, then imported to FCP 7. All was fine and dandy until I took a project in to Color.
My Pro Res pixels were 960x540 but Color spits them back to FC as 1280x540. This is maddening. I have set the output preference to custom and set the pixels to my desired dimensions and still, Color takes over.
In addition, all vignettes are opaque and therefore useless.
