JVC DT-V24L3DY vs FSI LM-2450W
by Vincent Chueng on Jun 27, 2009 at 6:43:22 pm

did anyone compare the performance of the LCD monitor of JVC DT-V24L3DY and FSI LM-2450W ? We have already get a JVC DT-V24L3DY in our offline suite, but the performance was really dissapointing.....bad viewing angle(low contrast image at around 120 degree angle, low color gamut..etc...) .So we decided to perchase a FSI LM-2450W...did anyone can give me some advice on that? Technically, FSI has a wide gamut CCFL and wide viewing angle..is that really that good?

Yes. In my experience and also Bob Zelin was floored by it as well.

We have 2 of the 2450W's in our shop and are installing 9 more in a local broadcast post production facility I've helped to re-design.

I've never seen the JVC monitor you mention, but from past experience, I've never seen any JVC monitor that has impressed me.

And of course if you don't like it for any reason, you've got that nice 30 day money back guarantee so you're not out any dough.
