Hello everyone. New to Color, and messed around with it a bit after watching a few online tutorials. However, I'm having the unfortunate problem where I can not get the waveforms to show. I'm on a pretty diesel Mac Pro decked with the FCP and CS suites, and the program runs fine, but whenever I venture into Color to correct, I have to always eyeball the curves because I have no waveforms to look at for reference. Thank you ahead of time!

"eyeball the curves"....?

What would you be getting from the curves in terms of feedback? I must be missing something here.

are you seeing any scopes at all?

If not, are you using 2 monitors, and one is filled with the image? If so, just double click that image and it will go to a smaller screen, where you should see scopes, and you can choose from RGB Parade, Waveform, VectorScope, 3d Scope, etc....

I'm not seeing any scopes at all. I am running in dual monitor mode, but the 2nd monitor has the image on quarter screen. I see the charts and whatnot for the RGB Parade, VectorScope, 3d Scope, etc. but they are all just empty, regardless of what video I'm working on and where in the video it is.

Can you see the scopes when you are not playing the video? As far as I know you cant monitor the scopes in real time, you have to pause it to see scopes.

What?!??!?@?#?$ No, this is ridiculous.

Its either a video card issue or a display intervention like one of those ersatz Color Profile plugins.

Yep. Scopes work in realtime here during playback. couldn't work with Color if they didn't.

Yeah, it's not that I don't see the scopes during playback, it's that I don't see the scopes at all when I'm in motion.
