 | intensity pro to laptop?
by Sanford McCoy on Apr 25, 2009 at 5:27:04 pm |
I'm trying to do some work on Color using a proper monitor and I confirm that it does not output video.
So far what I've read, one needs to pass by Blackmagic intensity pro or others such as matrox (though more $). The problem for me is that I have a Powerbook G4 and a Macbook pro - both laptops. Does anyone have an idea about how to make blackmagic intensity pro work on a laptop without buying a +$700 side thing? I would be most appreciative!

I saw a YouTube video on how to do this. I cannot find it again. Basically the guy put his laptop in one of those vise tables on edge, carefully placed a card with it started in the express34 slot and then whacked it with a sledgehammer. :-)
You got to spend some money if you want to use color, no way around that.
The above is meant to be a joke.

On a related youtube video, I saw a guy making "french fries" by clamping a potato in a vise and whacking it with a sledge hammer. Now that is art.
No it isn't, it's an old Gallagher routine.
But ever since Fibber McGee and Molly, nothing has been really funny... except those poor sad people trying to do "serious" color correction on their laptops. Now that is seriously sick in a hip-hop mode of expression.
