Perspective Reflection
by Michael DeMattia on Jan 16, 2010 at 12:59:26 pm

Hello

I'm trying to have a video play on one side & power point slide on the other side. I love the look of perspective flection but it only works for one image. I thought there was something like the video conference transition but as a filter but I cant find it. Any ideas would be great.

Thank you
Mike D

Hi Mike,

The best way to set up your scene is to stack one clip above the other (for example, video on top and powerpoint slide at the bottom). Apply the Perspective Reflection filter to both clips.
Initially you will only see the top clip, since it is fully opaque and it will cover the bottom clip. Bring up the parameter inspector for the top clip, and disable the Draw Gradient parameter. You should now see the bottom clip behind the top one. Remember to reposition your images so that they don't overlap each other, and you should be all set.

Hope this helps,
Gabe
