Volumetrix's Field Dominance Problem
by Hugo Tabares on Oct 30, 2009 at 2:27:24 pm

When using NI's Volumetrix plugin on a Text Layer within a SD Lower field 720 x 486 sequence in FCP, the plugin causes the text graphic to shift its field dominance. It's uncorrectable by applying FCP's shift field filter. The only way to fix the issue is by set the sequence's field dominance to none, which is not practical for us.
any thoughts?
thanks!

What happens when you apply the filter to the group?

it's just a simple pict image laying on top of a video scene. When shift filter is applied?...nothing happens!. Only when the sequence settings are forced to NONE field render dominance you see it ok.
thanks
