Ultra 2 Shadow Problem

After years of having Ultra 2 with minimal issues, I suddenly have a shadow problem. My shadows will no longer line up, some are upside down and won't reverse, some on the wrong side and backwards and none of the vertical, horizontal, or alignment settings solve the problem. I have used the shadows numerous times with none of these problems. The left floor setting for example will place the shadow way above the charector with no way to bring it into place.
I have updated my video card driver software, and there are no updates needed for Ultra 2 available.
The problem is not consistent either, sometimes everything is fine, it seems to happen when using only certain virtual sets, but works fine on other sets.
Has anyone else had this problem or know the fix?
Thanks in advance.

I can get shadow problems when I rotate the footage 90 deg on the input tab I think, after rotating the camera 90 deg. If you have Ultra CS3, then you probably have After effects with Keylight. Video copilot has a tutorial on shadows that is fantastic. Ultra shadows cannot compair to keylight. I love ultra but for realistic shadows I would use Keylight. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Thanks for your response. I am not rotating the input clip in any fashion. I am using Ultra2 pre-Adobe. I find the shadows in Ultra to work ok for my purposes and have used them many times with no problems. They now simple appear in dramatically incorrect places, but not on all virtual sets or only on certain camera angles within the same virtual set.

Question - are you using a different virtual set? My experience is that the shadowing simply doesn't work correctly in a number of virtual sets. Back when Serious Magic owned it, they actually sent me new versions of a couple sets that had problems. Now? I would suggest using a different virtual set where the shadows work.
